Located not far from Melaka town, a 20 minutes ride with a bus. It is a new developed recreation area with three playgrounds to accommodate family outings. A lot of activities can be done at the beach such as picnicking, boat rides, playing kites and swimming (at own risk). There are also horse riding, but you had to pay for the activity.

Every morning, many people nearby came to the beach to catch shrimps (geragau) that lays a lot at the beach. This shrimps are seasonal activity, which depends on the period of the monsoon. The best time is around August till October.

Meanwhile every Sunday at 4.30pm-6.30pm there is a free show of "Dondang Sayang" a traditional Malay Melaka singing activity. Many food and fruits stalls along the beach, offers you delicious snacks for special recreation at the beach. A very peaceful place for releasing some stress and get inspired
